Wood Puzzle brings the beauty of childrens early learning to the iPhone, returning to the classic toys of simpler times. Designed by a mother of two, and Latin Grammy winner for graphic design, the game includes 30 different puzzles which help toddlers and preschoolers develop key logic and fine motor skills in an entertaining way rewarding them with sounds & animations when completed.
FEATURES:
1. ROTATION OFF -default setting- makes the puzzles easier for beginners.
The pieces do not rotate, they just slide into place in the same direction.
2. ROTATION ON: MULTI-TOUCH AND SMART ROTATION
When this option is selected the pieces rotate, making the puzzles more natural and realistic to complete. Perfect for little experts.
3. BABY MODE
In Baby Mode, the puzzle is animated and puts itself together, helping the tiny ones understand the solved puzzle. They can also touch and move the pieces while they learn to solve the puzzle.

Wood Puzzle app good for
At first I thought this would be too finicky for my 4 yr old, but she loves it, and is able to manipulate the pieces easily with her small fingers. Love the sounds when shaking to mix the puzzle up! Thank you!
It is perfect for the time you will wait at the doctor with your child
Great idea but needs work. My 2 1/2 year old loves the concept but she cant rotate the pieces. She doesnt like the fact that she has to remove the pieces either.
Beautiful! My kids love it! An I do too! I strongly recomend it.
My 3 year old loves this app! It is so cute and cool. The new updates and puzzles are a big improvement. It is now easy for her to rotate and put puzzles together. they addressed the programs issues right away. It is one of our favorite preschool apps.
My 2 year old loved the game but found it a bit challenging to move and rotate the pieces into place- with the new ring, thats no longer an issue and she loves the addition of the dinasour. Thanks again and keep the great ideas coming!
Some bad moments
When I try to rotate a piece thats hovering over a piece I already placed the piece Ive already placed pops out to the top. I then have to move the piece underneath before placing the piece I already placed a second time. I was getting annoyed. My kids gonna hate that.
Rotating pieces is too difficult for little fingers. Well see how my daughter likes it, but Im not optimistic. Also, the 4 puzzles you see in the previews? Thats all of em.
It is not a kid friendly app. It is difficult to rotate the pieces. It is a great idea and I was excited to see puzzles. However, I was very let down. The concept is great. However,there are only a couple of puzzles. Then the roating it difficult for anyone. If you nake the slighest move the puzzles shakes. Good concept that need major major inprovments. Keep up hard work. We will try app again if it gets a good update.
Great idea for kids but to difficult for kids for these reasons:
-Puzzle pieces are to difficult to rotate for children
-Puzzle pieces do not lock in place once they are put in the right location (its to easy to accidently move them out of place)
-Puzzle pieces need to line up almost perfect to fit into place. (need to make it easier for the pieces to fall into place)
-When shaken to mix the puzzle pieces they move to far off to the edge and is difficult to retrieve.
If the programer fixes these problems it will be a great app for kids but until then look somewhere else.
Waste of money. When you are a parent and struggle with alignment / rotation issues - there is not much faith for your kids.
Pieces are difficult for a child to rotate and place. Needs a bunch of work.
